The Lion King Toledo Theatre reviews
Same old problem
The play was lovely in all respects but the San Diego Civic Theater has only gotten worse: The sound is LOUSY. The music is so loud it drowns out the words. This is a chronic problem which is why I gave up my season tickets several years ago. We sat in row V, aisle seats . The step above us was loose and made a distracting noise whenever someone stepped to leave or reenter the theater, which was FREQUENT, in part because there were many children: I'm complaining about the noise the step made, not the children. Next time I wish to see a touring Broadway show, I'll see what is available in LA. Perhaps the Pantages. I have no plans to return to the San Diego Civic Theater.
